Not that I don't want to get all super-excited about martian conglomerates, but Erik Klemeti via twitter (@eruptionsblog) has a good point about alternate interpretations for those rocks.
Damn. I'm glad that i get it. Of course, I've read the coverage, and of course, I'd like for there to be water on mars. But can you tell me how often, on earth, rocks that look like this are stream bed deposits vs. ignimbrite? And if anything I've said reveals my ignorance, please just explain rather than flame.
